This world is going so fast that you can't catch it.Now the printable battery is available. This has been made possible by a printable battery that can be produced cost-effectively on a large scale.
Who developed this battery?
It was developed by a research team led by Prof. Dr. Reinhard Baumann of the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Electronic Nano Systems ENAS in Chemnitz together with colleagues from TU Chemnitz and Menippos GmbH. we should give him a lot of thanks for this kind and great work.
What are the characteristic of this battery?
As this is a printable battery so the characteristics of this battery differ significantly from those of conventional batteries. As the name suggest it must have very less weight. It weighs less than one gram on the scales, is not even one millimeter thick and can therefore be integrated into bank cards. It's voltage is 1.5 V, which is general.
How can we get more voltage?
This is a simple way to get more and more voltage. we can get 3 V, 4.5 V and 6 V by connecting them in series. For 3v we need to connect 2 battery in series and like that we can get more and more voltage.
What are the characteristic of the Old battery?
A zinc anode and a manganese cathode. In general batteries Zinc and manganese react with one another and produce electricity. the anode and cathode layer dissipate and dies out. These batteries are bulk and have low efficiency. When we get dispose it the wastage produces pollution apart from that it costs a lot and is not environment friendly.
How the printable battery has been manufactured?
The batteries that printed using a silk-screen printing method almost similar to that used for your t-shirts. A kind of rubber lip presses the printing paste through a screen onto the substrate. A template covers the areas that are not to be printed on. Through this process it is possible to apply comparatively large quantities of printing paste, and the individual layers are slightly thicker than a hair.we hope we can get battery at the end of this year.
